Job Description:

Position:        Purchase Executive

Location:       Vapi

Experience:    2 - 3 Years

Industries:     Chemical

Responsibilities:

• Source and evaluate suppliers to achieve optimal cost, quality, and delivery.
• Prepare cost estimates, comparisons, and process Purchase/Service Orders as per company policies.
• Develop and manage vendor relationships; conduct performance evaluations and streamline supplier base.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, quality, and stores to ensure timely material availability.
• Procure materials and services as per production and maintenance plans, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor and optimize inventory levels; implement JIT-based procurement to balance supply and demand.
• Handle RFQs, POs, delivery notes, invoices, and ensure ISO/procurement compliance.
• Coordinate with accounts to ensure timely vendor payments.
• Manage Capex procurement and sourcing of engineering/heavy/light machinery spares.
• Ensure cost-effective sourcing of packing materials (corrugated boxes, poly liners, BOPP tapes, stretch/shrink films, labels).
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers for best value, quality, and delivery terms.
• Apply strong negotiation skills to achieve cost efficiency.

Required Skills

• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and BOMs.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
• Good knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain management, and inventory control.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Required Qualification: - Any Graduation

Salary :- Upto 2.64 LPA
