Job Description:

Position :      Associate Manager - QA/QC

Location :      Vapi

Experience:   10- 15 Years

Industries:    Chemical

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the QA and QC departments to ensure product quality, safety, and compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Quality Management Systems (QMS) in line with ISO, and other regulatory guidelines.
  • Approve and review test methods, SOPs, specifications, and quality documentation.
  • Ensure timely calibration and validation of lab equipment and manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry in SAP (S4HANA), maintain inspection records, ATRs, calibration logs, an customer quality survey data for traceability and decision- making.
  • Monitor raw materials, in-process, and finished product testing to ensure conformance with required specifications.
  • Conduct internal audits and coordinate with external auditors (regulatory bodies, clients).
  • Initiatives in method development, product analysis validation, and implementation of Operational Excellence tools like 5S, TPM, and FMEA for continuous improvement.
  • Train and mentor quality staff on quality practices, SOP adherence, and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate with R&D, Production, EHS, and Regulatory departments for quality-related matters.
  • He will be responsible for Customer Complaint & Sample Management.
  • Ensure availability of lab consumables, chemicals, glassware, and raise purchase requests for instruments/spares via SAP to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and analyse quality reports monthly for Plant Head and Quality Head.
  • Manage and oversee QR-code activities for product traceability and compliance.
  • Working knowledge of the Insecticides Act, 1968 and related regulatory compliance requirements.

 Required Skills

  • Basic computer Knowledge/Good Data analytical and Presentation skills, MS Office, SAP (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of TQM, ISO-IMS Standards.
  • Hands-on experience with analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, etc.
  • Chemistry knowledge, Chemical analysis and Pesticide-Tech & Various formulation sample test procedure and regulation.

Qualification: M.Sc - Chemistry

Salary :- Upto 17.00 LPA
