Job Description:

Position:       IT Engineer

Location:      Sarigam

Experience:   1 - 5 Years 

Industries:    Chemical

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day IT support for desktops, laptops, printers, and user applications
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
• Monitor and maintain servers, LAN/WAN networks, and IT infrastructure
• Ensure system uptime and quick resolution of technical issues in plant operations
• Support and coordinate basic operations of SCADA, DCS, and other industrial systems
• Assist in managing user accounts, access control, and security permissions
• Implement basic cybersecurity practices such as antivirus updates and patch management
• Perform regular data backups and assist in disaster recovery activities
• Support ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and other business applications
• Maintain IT documentation, asset records, and inventory management
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs, AMC support, and service requests
• Assist in network configuration (switches, routers, IP management, VLANs)
• Support CCTV systems, access control, and communication tools
• Follow IT policies, safety standards, and change management procedures
• Troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime in production environments
• Assist in IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations
• Provide basic user training and technical guidance when required

Required Skills

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Basic knowledge of networking and system administration
• Understanding of industrial IT environment 
• Ability to work in plant/shift environments
• Good communication and coordination skills

Required Qualification: - Diploma/B.Sc/M.Sc/B.E/B.Tech - IT

Salary :- Upto 4.50 LPA
