Responsible for the preparation calculations and review of process design drawings in accordance to customer specifications, applicable codes, standards and other generally accepted practices in the design of industrial plants such as organic chemicals, petrochemicals & other chemical industries.

To carry out activities like specification data sheet & basic engineering calculations.

To generate PFDs, P&IDs, calculations, operation manuals to comply with clients’ requirement.

To carry out heat and material balances.

Co-ordination with service departments for carrying out Process Troubleshooting & process scale up

To carry out hydraulic design for pumps & develop respective process datasheets.

Effectively generating data from Pilot plant/Kilo lab for Designing of Commercial Scale Plant.

To conduct or attend P&ID design reviews, HAZOP.

To coordinate with Project Team and other Department Engineers to facilitate smooth progress of engineering work.

10

To perform other functions that may be assigned by Department Manager.

Has to be computer savvy & expertise in AUTO CAD.

Should have exposure to or worked in following departments:

a.       Technical Services.

b.       Process Design.

c.       Front End Project Eng. (BEP).

d.       Technology Development/Transfer
