Experience: 4 to 10 years in mechanical maintenance of plant processing equipment, preferably in petrochemical, polymer, or chemical industries
Location: Roha, Maharashtra

Industry: Petrochemical (Polystyrene – PS, Expandable Polystyrene – EPS, Syndiotactic Polystyrene – SPS, Extruded Polystyrene – XPS)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer – Mechanical Maintenance to oversee and execute maintenance activities for plant processing equipment in a petrochemical manufacturing environment. The role involves ensuring maximum equipment uptime, reliability, and safety while adhering to statutory and company standards.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, schedule, and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment.
Maintain and troubleshoot critical plant equipment such as reactors, extruders, compressors, pumps, heat exchangers, utilities, and material handling systems.
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Monitor equipment performance and implement reliability improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory regulations, and company policies.
Coordinate with production, E&I, and other cross-functional teams for smooth plant operations.
Manage spare parts inventory and optimize maintenance costs.
Supervise and guide technicians and junior engineers.
Maintain maintenance records, reports, and documentation using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
Participate in shutdown planning and execution.

Required Skills
Strong knowledge of rotating and static equipment maintenance
Experience in handling extruders and polymer processing equipment (preferred)
Familiarity with maintenance planning tools and CMMS
Good understanding of safety practices (PTW, LOTO, HAZOP awareness)
Problem-solving and analytical skills
Leadership and team management capabilities
Effective communication and coordination skills
