SECURITY OFFICER EX ARMY FOR STEEL MANUFACTURING - MIRZAPUR , UTTAR PRADESH

Job Description:

• Role Summary: Responsible for protecting the manufacturing plant's infrastructure, raw materials, finished products, and personnel. Manages security staff and ensures compliance with company safety standards.
• Key Responsibilities:
  • Access Control: Manage the entry/exit points for employees, visitors, and vehicles to prevent unauthorized access and pilferage.
  • Surveillance & Patrolling: Oversee CCTV operations and conduct regular patrols of the entire plant, warehouse, and perimeter.
  • Security Team Management: Lead, train, and maintain discipline among security guards and supervisors.
  • Emergency Response: Act as a first responder for accidents, fire, or safety breaches and coordinate incident reporting.
  • Risk Mitigation: Conduct threat assessments, audits, and develop security protocols (SOPs) for the facility.
  • Liaison: Coordinate with local police, security agencies, and plant management.
• Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • Background: Retired JCO/NCO or officer from the Army, BSF, or similar defense/para-military forces.
  • Experience: Previous experience in industrial security, particularly in manufacturing or steel plants, is highly preferred.
  • Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit to patrol industrial sites, often covering large areas.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of security systems (CCTV, intrusion detection) and relevant local security regulations.
• Typical Job Requirements:
  • Age: Usually below 45-50 years.
  • Education: Graduate preferred.
