Plant Operator

Job Description:

Job Title: Plant Operator – API Manufacturing

Location: Sykha, Bharuch, Gujarat

Experience: 3–7 Years (Pharma API Industry)

Qualification: ITI – AOCP (Attendant Operator Chemical Plant)

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor API manufacturing equipment such as reactors, centrifuges, dryers, and filtration units.
• Handle batch processing as per BMR (Batch Manufacturing Record) and SOPs.
• Ensure proper charging of raw materials and maintain process parameters (temperature, pressure, flow, etc.).
• Perform in-process checks and coordinate with QC/QA teams.
• Maintain documentation (logbooks, batch records, equipment logs) as per GMP norms.
• Follow safety procedures, including handling hazardous chemicals and use of PPE.
• Support cleaning, changeover, and preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Troubleshoot minor operational issues and report deviations.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of API manufacturing processes
• Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
• Basic understanding of chemical reactions and process safety
• Ability to read and follow SOPs and batch instructions
• Teamwork and shift operation readiness

Working Conditions:

• Rotational shifts (including night shifts)
• Work in controlled plant environments with strict safety protocols
