Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations, ensure statutory compliance, and support strategic financial planning in a manufacturing setup. The candidate should have strong experience in cost accounting, taxation, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Maintain general ledger, balance sheets, and P&L accounts
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Handle book closure and audit schedules

2. Cost Accounting (Manufacturing Focus)

• Analyze production costs, material consumption, and overheads
• Monitor inventory valuation and stock reconciliation
• Prepare cost sheets and variance analysis
• Support pricing and profitability analysis

3. Taxation & Compliance

• Manage GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances
• Ensure timely filing of returns and payments
• Coordinate with tax consultants and auditors
• Handle assessments, notices, and reconciliations

4. Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Oversee vendor payments and customer collections
• Monitor outstanding receivables and aging reports
• Ensure proper documentation and approvals

5. Banking & Cash Flow Management

• Handle banking transactions, fund flow, and cash flow planning
• Manage working capital and ensure liquidity
• Coordinate with banks for loans, CC limits, and documentation

6. Audit & Internal Controls

• Lead internal and statutory audits
• Ensure strong internal control systems
• Identify gaps and implement corrective actions

7. Team Management

• Supervise and guide junior accounting staff
• Allocate work and review team performance
• Ensure adherence to accounting policies

8. MIS & Reporting

• Prepare MIS reports for management decision-making
• Provide financial insights and recommendations
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities
