PLC Based Forming Machine Operator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled PLC-Based Forming Machine Operator responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining automated forming machines controlled by PLC systems. The role involves ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, and minimizing downtime through proactive machine handling and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor PLC-controlled forming machines as per production requirements.
- Set up machine parameters (speed, pressure, temperature, etc.) based on product specifications.
- Read and interpret PLC interface for machine status, alarms, and faults.
- Perform routine machine inspections and preventive maintenance checks.
- Troubleshoot basic PLC-related issues in coordination with maintenance/electrical teams.
- Ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality standards.
- Maintain proper documentation of production logs, downtime, and maintenance activities.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure safe operation of machinery at all times.
- Minimize material wastage and optimize machine efficiency.
- Coordinate with quality and maintenance teams for process improvements.
Required Qualifications:
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Basic understanding of PLC systems
- Experience in operating automated/forming machines in a manufacturing setup.
- Ability to read technical drawings and machine manuals.
Experience:
- 2–5 years of experience in operating PLC-based machines (preferably forming machines).
