Procurement Manager
Job Description:
Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Procurement Manager responsible for end-to-end sourcing, purchasing, vendor management, and supply coordination. The role requires strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and the ability to ensure uninterrupted supply for production and business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage vendor sourcing, obtain quotations, and lead price negotiations
Handle purchase planning and material requisitions efficiently
Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) with accuracy and proper documentation
Ensure timely delivery follow-ups and maintain supply continuity
Drive cost optimization through supplier comparison and negotiation strategies
Resolve vendor-related issues including quality concerns and shortages
Coordinate with accounts for invoice validation and payment processes
Maintain procurement reports (PO tracking, delays, pricing trends, risks)
Collaborate closely with production, stores, and accounts teams
Candidate Profile
3–6 years of experience in procurement (FMCG/manufacturing/trading preferred)
Strong negotiation, vendor management, and follow-up skills
Proficient in ERP systems, MS Excel, and documentation processes
Commercial mindset with a structured and organized approach
Ability to work in a fast-paced factory + office environment
