Job Description:

Role : Learning/ Instructional Designer and Trainer

Positions : 1 Opening (Role Based out of - Gurugram)

Type : Full Time, Work from Office

Reporting to : Sr. Manager (Training & Development)

Experience : 5+ years of relevant experience (Instructional Design, Learning Design, Training)

Your Role and Responsibilities

1. Learning Content Design & Development

• Design high-impact product and sales training modules (PPTs, videos, digital content, playbooks).
• Develop structured learning journeys (30-60-90 days onboarding plans).
• Create micro-learning videos (5–7 mins) on product features, advantages & benefits.
• Design sales toolkits, pitch decks, cheat sheets, objection handling guides, FAQs.
• Build digital learning library for self-paced learning (sales & channel partners).
• Apply adult learning principles (ADDIE, Kirkpatrick Model) in content creation.
• Continuously update content based on product launches and market feedback.

2. Product Training

• Conduct in-depth training on  product categories:
• Architectural Hardware, Door Handles & Locks, Digital Locks & Safes, Glass Fittings & Railing Systems
• Explain product USPs, positioning, installation basics & competitor comparison.
• Conduct product certification programs & assessments.
• Support new product launch training across North region.

3. Sales Functional Training

• Conduct New Hire Training & Refresher Programs.
• Deliver workshops on: Solution selling, Channel management, Negotiation & objection handling
• Cross-selling & upselling
• Conduct field coaching & joint market visits.
• Improve sales productivity through structured interventions.

4. Training Planning & Execution

• Prepare annual & quarterly training calendars aligned with Sales & HR.
• Customize training content as per regional business requirements.
• Coordinate with Product Managers & RSMs for assessments & question banks.
• Maintain training MIS & dashboards.
• Present training performance reports monthly to management.

Technical and Professional Expertise

1. Experienced in writing, curating, and editing content for accuracy, clarity, and usability for sales team, technical audience & Technicians (10th or Higher secondary)
2. Strong knowledge of instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning principles.
3. Practical knowledge of eLearning authoring tools like - Articulate Studio / Storyline / Adobe Captivate, Camtasia etc.
4. Practical knowledge of video editing soft wares likeAdobe, Filmora, Canva, Illustrator etc.
5. Aware of new age social media content creation trends like Instagram Reels, LinkedIn type Videos, YouTube based learning content.
6. Knowledge of managing & maintaining learning platforms or LMS (E.g. Disperz, Success Factors or any other LMS).
7. Use of latest AI Tools like Claude, Canva AI, Elevenlabs etc
Preferred requirements:
1. Should have a passion to create & design content (i.e., videos, voiceover, vlogs, blogs, presentations, and animated videos)
2. Should be open to learning new products/features and absorb and replicate what's been coached
3. Practical knowledge of MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and MS365 (Mail, Calendar, Meet, Drive, and Spreadsheets) or can learn it while working on projects
4. Consultative skills/Exp. Working across teams and depts.
5. Experience with basic sales skills and the profession of sales knowledge a plus.
6. Experience in corporate environments and navigating matrixed organizational charts.
7. Have led large scale ID projects for whole programs end-to-end.
8. Ability to lead SME/Review meeting. Proactive in leading meetings, giving clear objectives, and sending meeting notes and status update.

Reporting time at office: 9 - 9:30 am (Check out by 5:30 pm /6 pm)
