Position Overview:
The Production Inventory Executive will be responsible for managing the raw material (RM) inventory, aligning daily production schedules with material requirements, and ensuring smooth execution of production plans. The role also includes maintaining accurate records of production activities, ensuring timely replenishment of inventory, and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) to support operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Production and Inventory Alignment:
o Work closely with production teams to align inventory levels with production schedules.
o Monitor raw material (RM) inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock for production requirements.
o Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely replenishment of materials as needed.
Daily Production Planning:
o Collaborate with production planners to develop daily production plans based on material availability and production schedules.
o Ensure all materials required for production are available on time and in the required quantity.
Production Execution:
o Oversee the day-to-day management of raw material stocks to ensure there is no disruption to production.
o Track material usage and consumption during production runs.
o Ensure the correct inventory is available at the production floor and monitor the material movement.
Inventory Control:
o Conduct regular stock audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
o Manage the storage, handling, and distribution of raw materials effectively.
o Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and reduce overstock situations.
MIS (Management Information Systems):
o Prepare and update daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
o Provide real-time information on production progress, material consumption, and inventory levels.
o Ensure accurate and timely reporting of any discrepancies or issues.
Compliance and Safety:
o Ensure compliance with safety regulations in handling and storing materials.
o Follow company policies for stock handling and documentation.
Continuous Improvement:
o Identify opportunities for process improvement in production and inventory management.
o Recommend strategies to improve production flow, minimize downtime, and optimize material usage.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology / Food science.
Experience in production or inventory management, preferably in a FMCG environment.
Strong knowledge of inventory control techniques and production planning.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SAP / ERP systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
