Job Summary
We are looking for a Trainee Editor/Mentor who will support students in crafting high-quality application materials for international universities. The role involves editing, proofreading, and refining essays, SOPs, resumes, and other documents while maintaining the student’s unique voice. You will collaborate with mentors and students to ensure timely delivery of polished and impactful submissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and proofread application materials including essays, SOPs, and resumes
- Enhance clarity, structure, and overall quality of content while preserving authenticity
- Ensure all documents align with university guidelines and requirements
- Collaborate with mentors and students to incorporate feedback effectively
- Manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines consistently
- Assist students with profile development, capstone projects, and research work
Requirements
- Strong editing, proofreading, and academic writing skills
- Excellent command of grammar, structure, and consistency
- Strong communication and time management abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Education, or a related field
Preferred (Good to Have)
- Familiarity with university admissions processes
- Exposure to international education systems
