Jr. Engineer- PPC (Production, Planning and Control)

Key Responsibilities

📊 Production Planning

• Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly production plans
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and shop floor teams
• Ensure optimal utilization of machines and manpower

📦 Material Planning & Control

• Monitor raw material availability
• Raise material requisitions and track shortages
• Work closely with stores and purchase departments

📈 Production Monitoring

• Track actual production vs planned targets
• Identify delays and support corrective actions
• Maintain production records and reports

🔄 Coordination

• Liaise between departments:
  • Production
  • Quality
  • Purchase
  • Dispatch
• Ensure smooth workflow and timely order completion

🧾 Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain MIS reports, production logs, and schedules
• Update ERP systems (like SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Generate reports for management review

🛠️ Required Skills

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of production planning concepts
• Basic understanding of textile machinery / manufacturing processes
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Good Excel skills

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work under deadlines
