Purchase Executive

Job Description:

Purchase Executive (Weaving Factory) 

• Handle procurement of yarn, machine parts, and other factory requirements
• Identify and coordinate with vendors/suppliers for best pricing and quality
• Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials
• Maintain records of purchases, invoices, and stock levels
• Negotiate prices and payment terms with suppliers
• Coordinate with production and store teams for material requirements
• Ensure quality and quantity of received materials
• Monitor inventory to avoid shortages or excess stock
• Handle administrative and miscellaneous purchases for the factory
• Follow company policies and maintain proper documentation 

Additional Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain a strong vendor database
• Compare quotations and prepare cost analysis reports
• Track pending orders and follow up with suppliers regularly
• Coordinate for timely inward and inspection of materials
• Resolve issues related to delays, shortages, or damaged goods
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of all purchase records
• Support audits by providing required purchase documents
• Monitor market rates of yarn and other materials
• Ensure cost control and budget adherence
• Coordinate with accounts for invoice processing and payments
• Maintain purchase MIS reports and share updates with management
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Build good relationships with suppliers for smooth operations
