Urgent job Opening for Jr. Production Engineer, Ahmedabad

Job Description:

Job Purpose
To ensure accurate and timely movement of parts from Design → Laser Cutting → Fabrication → Paint Shop
→ Assembly, with zero mismatch, delay, or routing errors. The role focuses on execution of production flow
as per PPC plan.

Key Responsibilities
1. Production Flow Execution (Core Responsibility)
 Receive part release from Design Department for laser cutting
 Ensure correct parts are issued to laser cutting as per BOM/drawings
 Track movement of:
o Laser parts → Paint Shop → Assembly
o Laser parts → Fabrication → Paint Shop → Assembly
o Laser parts → Assembly
 Ensure every part follows defined routing without deviation
2. Routing ; Tracking Control
 Maintain end-to-end tracking of parts across all stages
 Ensure no part is:
o Missed
o Misrouted
o Delayed unnecessarily
 Physically verify movement on shop floor
3. Coordination Between Departments
 Coordinate with:
o Design Team (for drawing clarity & release)
o Laser Cutting Team
o Fabrication Team
o Paint Shop
o Assembly Team
 Ensure smooth handover between departments
4. Priority ; Dispatch Control
 Follow priorities set by PPC Engineer
 Expedite urgent or critical parts
 Ensure parts reach assembly as per production schedule
5. Shortage ; Bottleneck Identification
 Identify missing parts before assembly stage
 Highlight delays or bottlenecks in:
o Laser cutting

o Fabrication
o Paint shop
 Escalate issues proactively to PPC Engineer
6. Documentation ; System Control
 Maintain tracking sheets / ERP updates for part movement
 Update the status of parts at each stage
 Maintain records of:
o Pending parts
o Completed parts
o Delayed parts
7. Shop Floor Monitoring
 Regularly monitor physical flow of parts
 Ensure proper identification/tagging of parts
 Avoid mixing of jobs or assemblies
8. Support to PPC Engineer
 Execute tasks and priorities assigned by PPC Engineer
 Assist in production planning implementation
 Support in daily review meetings with status updates
Key KPIs
 Zero routing errors
 On-time movement of parts to assembly
 Reduction in part shortages at assembly
 Lead time from laser → assembly
 Accuracy of tracking records
 No job mixing/identification errors

Skills Required
 Good understanding of manufacturing flow (Laser, Fabrication, Paint, Assembly)
 Ability to read basic engineering drawings
 Strong coordination & follow-up skills
 Shop-floor oriented mindset (not desk job)
 Basic Excel / ERP knowledge
