US Tax Manager (Real Estate)

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced US Tax Manager – Real Estate to join our growing India team. This is a high-impact role involving direct interaction with U.S. CPAs and clients, with strong exposure to advisory, leadership, and decision-making. The position offers a clear path to leadership within a global firm.
Key Responsibility:
- Lead and manage end-to-end U.S. tax engagements for real estate clients
- Perform final review of tax returns, including Forms 1065, 1120S, 1120, and high-income 1040s
- Handle real estate partnerships, pass-through entities, and investor reporting
- Review investor K-1s and manage complex multi-state tax matters
- Act as a primary point of contact for U.S. CPAs and clients
- Drive tax planning and advisory initiatives
- Manage, mentor, and supervise a team of 3–5 team members
- Ensure quality control, timelines, and compliance across deliverables
- Identify process improvements and enhance team efficiency
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in U.S. taxation
- Strong expertise in Form 1065 (Real Estate Partnerships)
- Experience in final review of 1120S, 1120, and 1040 returns
- Strong knowledge of multi-state taxation and K-1 review
- Prior experience working with U.S. CPA firms
- Proven experience in handling clients independently
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines
- CPA (US) or EA (Enrolled Agent) – Mandatory

What the Client Does
- Provides accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, and compliance support
- Supports month-end closing, reporting, AP/AR, and reconciliations
- Works closely with overseas clients, following US accounting standards
