Job Description:

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced US Tax Manager – Real Estate to join our growing India team. This is a high-impact role involving direct interaction with U.S. CPAs and clients, with strong exposure to advisory, leadership, and decision-making. The position offers a clear path to leadership within a global firm.


Key Responsibility:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end U.S. tax engagements for real estate clients
  • Perform final review of tax returns, including Forms 1065, 1120S, 1120, and high-income 1040s
  • Handle real estate partnerships, pass-through entities, and investor reporting
  • Review investor K-1s and manage complex multi-state tax matters
  • Act as a primary point of contact for U.S. CPAs and clients
  • Drive tax planning and advisory initiatives
  • Manage, mentor, and supervise a team of 3–5 team members
  • Ensure quality control, timelines, and compliance across deliverables
  • Identify process improvements and enhance team efficiency

Requirements: 

  • 5+ years of experience in U.S. taxation
  • Strong expertise in Form 1065 (Real Estate Partnerships)
  • Experience in final review of 1120S, 1120, and 1040 returns
  • Strong knowledge of multi-state taxation and K-1 review
  • Prior experience working with U.S. CPA firms
  • Proven experience in handling clients independently
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines
  • CPA (US) or EA (Enrolled Agent) – Mandatory

 Work Timing

  • Flexible work schedule
  • Partial overlap with U.S. Eastern Time required

What the Client Does

  • Provides accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, and compliance support
  • Supports month-end closing, reporting, AP/AR, and reconciliations
  • Works closely with overseas clients, following US accounting standards
  • Uses modern accounting tools and structured processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness
