Job Description

  We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our packaging department. You will be responsible for the mechanical integrity and uptime of high-speed bottle packaging lines. This role involves a mix of scheduled preventative maintenance, rapid-response troubleshooting, and equipment optimization within a regulated manufacturing environment.

 Core Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues on automated packaging equipment to minimize production downtime.

• Preventative Maintenance: Execute routine PM schedules to ensure equipment longevity and safety compliance.

• Changeovers: Assist in the setup and changeover of lines for different product runs, ensuring all equipment (counters, cappers, labelers) is calibrated correctly.

• Documentation: Maintain detailed logs of repairs and parts usage in accordance with company SOPs.

Technical Scope (Equipment)

Candidates must have experience working with:

• Front-End: Bottle Unscramblers, Electronic Tablet Counters, Slat Fillers.

• Sealing & Labeling: Cappers, Cap Induction Sealers, Labelers, Neck/Body Banders, and Heat Shrink Tunnels.

• End-of-Line: Tray/Case Formers, Case Packers, Case Tapers, Cartonning machines, and QR Code Printers.

• Auxiliary: Accumulation Tables and Dust Collectors.

Candidate Requirements

• Maintenance Experience: 3+ years specifically maintaining bottle packaging lines.

• Industry Experience: 2+ years in a regulated environment such as Pharmaceuticals, Nutraceuticals, Food, or Cosmetics.

• Communication: Basic English skills (reading and speaking) are required for safety and technical documentation.

• Availability: Must be flexible to work Overtime (OT).
