Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Job Description:

Responsible for all safety compliances.

Responsible for Machine availability and Up time.

Responsible for MTTR, MTBF, Breakdown %

Responsible for Breakdown maintenance, Preventive maintenance, Corrective maintenance, Predictive maintenance, Periodic maintenance, Time based maintenance, Condition based maintenance.

To ensure maintenance activity done thru SAP only.

Responsible for spare parts management, Continual improvement, and Focused Maintenance.

Responsible for TS16949, ISO 14001 2015 & ISO 45001 2018 activities & implementation and audits.

Ensure effective SS in dept and in maintenance related areas.

To attend departmental meetings.

Follow up with Purchase dept for spares procurements.

Making sketch/drawings of worn out/broken parts and get manufactured.

Qualifications and Requirements:

B.E. OR Diploma in Mechanical engineering.

Proven Hands-on maintenance Experience of 3 to 5 years in Machine Shop Maintenance.

Hands-on maintenance experience of HMC, VMC, CNC Turning, CNC Grinding, CNC Hobbing, Gear Shaping, Honing, SPM, GPM, Conventional, Assembly shop m/c, Test rigs, Hydraulics, Pneumatics machines for 3-5 years.

SAP PM & MM module with good working experience and knowledge.

Sound knowledge and Hands-on maintenance experience in Ball screw, Slides, LM Guideways, ATC, APC, Spindles, various drive mechanism, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Coolant system.

Maintenance/Machine Spare parts management. Sound knowledge of Mechanical drawings and reading.

Willing to work in all 3 shifts and ready to work with own hands.

Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001, EMS OHSAS, TPM, 5S, QMS and Safety.

Knowledge of MS office, SAP PM Module. Root Cause Analysis and Continual Improvement. Good verbal & written communication skills

Excellent knowledge of presentation and report preparation, MS Office.

Incumbent must be independent, unbiased, and able to work under pressure
