Machine Shop Quality -Assistant Manager

Job Description:

Responsible and authorized for QMS, NPD, and gauge management quality.

1.Documentation control & record keeping for all parts related to new product development.

2.Process and product audits covering gauge design, development, and procurement.

3.Layered manufacturing system audit plan and follow-up system compliance.

4.Supplier process audits and performance monitoring monthly.

5.Active involvement in new part development process for documentation and Design Manufacturing Review (DMR).

6.Maintain records of gauge issue and receipt from stores to the shop floor.

7.Prepare and monitor the Measurement System Analysis (MSA) plan versus actual results.

8.Gauge calibration as per the defined schedule/plan.

Responsibility and Authority In process Quality In charge

1 In-process & final inspection in A, B, and C shifts, covering all machines.

2.Set-up approval and inspections: Carry out set-up approval, in-process, and final inspection as per requirements for all parts (shafts, castings).

3. Daily rejection analysis: Perform rejection analysis and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), with monitoring for sustenance.

4.In-house PPM control: Ensure Parts Per Million (PPM) levels are controlled as per targets defined in MIS/KPІ.

5.Daily verification & authentication: Verify and authenticate in-process checks, gauges, set-up approvals, CMM reports, documentation, and compliance across all production machines.

6. Special inspections & audits: Conduct layout inspections, Statistical Process Control (SPС), dock audits, and product audits as per plan.

7. Set-up approval & inspections (reiterated): Carry out set-up approval, in-process, and final inspection as required for all parts. sRawt 11/12/25 Aarchs

Responsibility and Authority CMM In charge

1. Plan manpower and provide required training for CMM operations and program handling.
2. Correlate CMM results with customer reports to ensure accuracy and consistency.
3. Ensure annual calibration and manage AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) activities across the machine shoр.
4. Drive inspection time improvements in CMM operations and prepare/modify CMM programs.
5. Communicate discrepancies in CMM reports to the Line QA In-charge and Supervisor.
6. Exercise authority to stop further processing as per procedure (DP/MSQA/06).
7. Record rejection/rework data with proper identification and raise NCRs.
