Assistant Manager (US Taxation)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented US Tax professional with experience in preparing business tax returns for partnerships and corporations. The role involves working closely with US CPA firms, handling end-to-end tax preparation, and ensuring compliance with US tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of US business tax returns – Form 1065, 1120, 1120-S
Preparation of K-1s, supporting schedules, and workpapers
Perform book-to-tax adjustments and financial statement reconciliation
Review the trial balance, general ledger, and financials for tax preparation
Coordinate with US CPA teams for queries and data requirements
Ensure accuracy and compliance with US tax laws and client guidelines
Maintain proper documentation, checklists, and workflow tracking
Manage multiple engagements and meet strict deadlines

Required Qualifications:
CA / CPA (US) / EA / Semi-qualified CA / Commerce Graduate
3–5 years of experience in US business tax return preparation
Strong understanding of partnership & corporate taxation
Knowledge of depreciation, fixed assets, basis, and capital accounts (preferred)
Hands-on experience with tools like CCH, ProSystem fx, UltraTax, Drake or similar
Strong Excel and analytical skills
