Job Title: Junior Engineer – Structural & Fabrication Works
Reporting To: Project Manager
Location: Surat (Workshop & Multiple Client Sites)

Role Summary

The Junior Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and monitoring structural and fabrication work across multiple client sites. This role involves ensuring execution accuracy, maintaining quality and safety standards, and providing timely updates to the Project Manager. The position requires a hands-on approach with frequent site visits and coordination with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Supervision & Execution
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress of structural and fabrication work
Ensure project execution aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and timelines

2. Quality Assurance
Inspect fabrication and erection activities to ensure adherence to quality standards
Verify compliance with engineering drawings, technical specifications, and safety norms

3. Coordination & Communication
Act as a point of contact between site teams, clients, and the Project Manager
Resolve on-site issues promptly to avoid project delays

4. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain daily site reports, logs, and progress updates
Record discrepancies and escalate critical issues to the Project Manager

5. Safety & Compliance
Monitor site safety practices and ensure adherence to safety regulations
Promote safe working conditions and enforce best practices

6. Material & Resource Management
Ensure timely availability of materials at site
Monitor proper utilization of materials and resources

Qualifications

Education:
Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering

Experience:
1–3 years of relevant experience in structural and fabrication projects
