Execution Process Engineer

Job Description:

Responsibilities
• Understand core process from licenser or with our R&D team.
• Prepare and work out BEP with consultant / R&D team.
• Finalize & freeze process, storage, utility requirement, effluent treatment scope.
• Prepare and support project manager to finalize capex.
• Support project manager to expedite long lead items and technical discussion with vendors.
• Review and approve all process engineering deliverables developed by detailed engineering consultant, e.g. PDS, P&ID's, MB, EB, Hydraulic calc, Equipment layout, Equipment sizing, etc
• Basic Engineering - Mass Balance, Energy Balance, Batch Time Cycle, Equipment Sizing etc.
• Detail Engineering - Review PDS, MDS, GAD, Equipment Power calculation, Hydraulics calculations, Selection of Agitator, pumps, HE, Tanks, Reactor, Filtration, Dryer etc.
• Review & Approval of BFD, PFD, P&IDs, ULDs.
• Participate in PHA, HAZOP, LOPA, PSSR, SOP Preparation, Various test study - DSC, ARC, Solid powder related study etc.
• Instrumentation - Review & Approval of IPDS, C&E, Interlock description, Control Narratives, Flow Chart, DSC screen graphics, SIS & SIL Requirement review and conduct study.
• Electricals - Prepare, Review & Approval of Load list, Emergency Power requirement, VFDs Requirements, HAC.
• Costing - Product RMC, Utility cost, Operating cost etc.
• Capex - Preparation of Capex, Basis, Feasibility study, ROI validation, Schedule
• HSE- Fire Load Calculation, Fire Network distribution, other safety requirements and study, Participate in safety walkdown, toolbox talk etc.
Public
• Process design basis preparation, review mechanical design, instrument design, Electric design, Civil & structure design basis.
• Participate in Process Forum meeting, Utility Forum Meeting.
• Documentation - Maintain All Project related document.
• Commissioning & Handover - Complete the pre-commissioning activities, water trial, Utility trial, Establish Plant capacity as per design with design RMC, Utility norms and complete the handover process.
• Participate in Execution and co-ordinates with inter discipline members and co-ordination with Team and other dept for project activities, Co-ordination with consultant for timely get all deliverables.
• Create PR, PR specification, tracking & expediating of Equipment’s.
• Vendor co-ordination for RFQ, Drawing, schedule, QAP, Inspection, Documentation, delivery etc..
