Job Description:
The HR - Talent Acquisition specialist will lead recruitment efforts, ensuring optimal manpower availability in a fast-paced manufacturing plant (Automotive/Engineering). The role requires a strong focus on high-volume, blue-collar hiring, complemented by white-collar recruitment, vendor management, and strict compliance with labor laws. 
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment Strategy (60% Blue Collar, 40% White Collar):
    • Execute full-cycle recruitment for shop floor staff, operators, technicians, and supervisors (blue-collar).
    • Source, interview, and onboard engineering, production, quality, and support staff (white-collar).
    • Achieve high-volume hiring targets within tight deadlines.
  • Manpower Planning & Budgeting:
    • Analyze production targets to forecast staffing needs and ensure optimal manpower availability.
    • Develop recruitment strategies that reduce turnover and fulfill seasonal/project-based demand.
  • Vendor & Contractor Management:
    • Manage relationships with third-party labor contractors and security agencies.
    • Ensure vendors comply with safety, legal, and company policies.
  • Campus & Local Hiring Drives:
    • Organize and execute local recruitment drives for operator-level roles.
    • Establish partnerships with local ITIs and vocational training centers for campus recruitment.
  • Compliance & Policies:
    • Ensure all hiring processes comply with labor laws (e.g., Contract Labour Act, Factories Act).
    • Oversee documentation and legal compliance for contractual workers.
  • MIS & Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate trackers on hiring status, joining ratios, and attrition rates.
    • Provide regular MIS updates to management regarding headcount and staffing costs. 
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience: Proven experience in HR/Recruitment within an Automotive, Engineering, or Manufacturing setup.
  • Skills: Expertise in blue-collar sourcing (bulk), vendor management, statutory compliance, and MIS reporting.
  • Education: MBA-HR or MPM is mandatory.
