Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced Plant Head to lead and manage overall plant operations in a construction machinery manufacturing setup. The candidate will be responsible for complete plant management including fabrication, assembly, painting, finishing, material planning, procurement, stores, quality control, and ERP system implementation. The role requires strong leadership capabilities to manage supervisors and workmen while ensuring operational excellence, productivity, and quality standards. Required Qualifications  Education: BE / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering Experience  Minimum 15 to 20 years e experience in manufacturing plant operation.  At least 5 to 10 years in managerial role.  Experience in construction machinery manufacturing preferred. Key Skills & Competencies  Strong leadership and decision-making skills  Expertise in fabrication, assembly, painting & finishing operations  Material planning, purchase, and store management  ERP system handling experience  Strong knowledge of quality systems  Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities Key Responsibilities 1. Plant Operations Management  Oversee complete manufacturing plant operations.  Ensure smooth functioning of fabrication, assembly, painting, and finishing processes.  Monitor production planning and achieve production targets.  Implement continuous improvement initiatives for productivity and cost control. 2. Material Planning & Supply Chain  Lead material planning, procurement, and inventory management.  Oversee stores operations and ensure optimal stock levels.  Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely material availability.  Ensure effective utilization of ERP systems for planning and tracking. 3. Quality Management  Ensure adherence to quality standards in manufacturing.  Implement quality control systems and corrective actions.  Monitor product quality and minimize rejection and rework. 4. Team Leadership  Lead and manage supervisors and workmen.  Ensure discipline, safety, and workforce productivity.  Conduct performance reviews and provide guidance and training. 5. Compliance & Safety  Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, and environmental regulations.  Promote a safe working culture within the plant.
