Job Description:
Position: Head – Quality
Location: Zaroli near by Bhilad
Experience: 18 - 20 Years
Industries: Automobile
Responsibilities:
-
Quality Governance (Multi-Plant):
- Act as single point of ownership for quality across all plants.
- Define and deploy standard quality systems, procedures, and documentation.
- Ensure uniform implementation of quality standards across locations.
- Conduct regular quality reviews and audits.
- Quality Assurance & Control:
- Ensure adherence to IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, and FMEA.
- Monitor in-process and final inspection activities.
- Ensure effective control plans and process audits.
- Drive first-time-right and zero-defect initiatives.
- Customer Quality Management:
- Act as central interface for OEMs and Tier-1 customers for quality matters.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure timely closure.
- Lead 8D problem-solving and root cause analysis.
- Improve customer PPM and satisfaction levels.
- Supplier Quality Management:
- Develop and monitor supplier quality systems.
- Conduct supplier audits and performance reviews.
- Ensure incoming material quality and supplier PPAP approvals.
- Drive supplier development and improvement programs.
- Process Improvement & Problem Solving:
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across plants.
- Use quality tools such as Six Sigma, Lean, and Kaizen.
- Identify and eliminate root causes of defects and variations.
- Audit & Compliance Management:
- Lead internal, customer, and certification audits.
- Ensure closure of audit findings and compliance gaps.
- Maintain documentation and certification readiness.
- Team Development & Leadership:
- Build and lead quality teams across plants.
- Define skill matrix, training plans, and competency development.
- Mentor plant quality heads and review performance.
- New Product Quality Support:
- Support NPD team in APQP and PPAP activities.
- Ensure quality readiness during new product launches.
- Approve PPAP submissions and deviation requests.
