PRODUCTION MANAGER FOR STEEL MANUFACTURING - MAHASAMUND , CHHATTISGARH

Job Description:

• Production Planning: Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on company targets.
• Operations Oversight: Manage the end-to-end manufacturing process to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Quality & Safety Control: Ensure all products meet industry specifications and strictly adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Resource Management: Supervise, train, and mentor production staff while ensuring proper maintenance of equipment.
• Continuous Improvement: Implement improvements to production techniques and identify areas to reduce costs.
• Coordination: Coordinate with procurement, maintenance, and quality departments to ensure smooth workflows. 

  Job Requirements:
  - Hands-on experience in induction furnace operations (preferably 22 MT furnace)
  - Strong knowledge of billet production, including:
  - Tested billets
  - Vanadium alloy billets
  - Copper alloy billets
  - Ability to manage shift operations, control consumption, and ensure production efficiency
  - Experience in handling furnace crew, material planning, and troubleshooting

  Working Hours: 12-hour shifts
  Salary: As per experience and capability

  Preferred Candidate:
  - Prior experience in a steel plant with similar capacity and has a good knowledge of tested billet
  - Strong understanding of yield, recovery, and cost control
  - Practical, shop-floor oriented approach
