A Hospital Field Officer implements healthcare initiatives, conducts community health education, and acts as a liaison between the medical institution and the public. They monitor on-ground programs, collect health data, manage logistics for field activities, and ensure compliance with health regulations. Responsibilities include community outreach and reporting.Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Program Implementation: Coordinate and execute community-based health programs, screenings, and immunization drives.
- Community Outreach & Education: Conduct health education workshops and awareness drives.
- Data Collection & Reporting: Gather field data regarding health conditions, monitor project progress, and submit detailed reports.
- Logistics Support: Ensure necessary supplies are available for field healthcare projects.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Build networks with local authorities and communities, and represent the hospital in the field.
- Monitoring & Evaluation: Supervise field staff and assess the effectiveness of health activities.
Key Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Typically a bachelor’s degree in nursing, health management, or a related field.
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in field operations or public health.
- Skills: Strong communication (verbal and written), interpersonal skills, data collection, and project management.
- Attributes: Empathy, capability to work independently, and willingness to travel.
- Proficiency in local languages and English.
- Knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) for reporting.
- Ability to handle field operations, including logistics.
