Job Title: Purchase Executive – Electrical / Fire
Experience: 3–4 Years
Industry Preference: Electrical / Fire Protection / MEP

Job Summary

We are looking for a Purchase Executive with 3–4 years of experience in procurement of Electrical or Fire Fighting materials. The candidate will be responsible for vendor management, sourcing, negotiations, and timely procurement to support project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Handle end-to-end procurement of Electrical / Fire Fighting materials
Identify and develop new vendors and maintain existing vendor relationships
Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate for best cost and delivery terms
Prepare purchase orders and follow up for timely delivery
Coordinate with project/site teams for material requirements and specifications
Track order status and ensure on-time material availability
Maintain purchase records, vendor database, and documentation
Ensure quality compliance as per technical specifications
Monitor inventory levels and avoid shortages/excess stock
Coordinate with accounts for invoice processing and payment follow-ups

Required Skills

Knowledge of Electrical or Fire Fighting materials (cables, panels, sprinklers, valves, detectors, etc.)
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
Good understanding of purchase process and documentation
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
Good communication and coordination skills

Qualification

Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical OR related field
Any supply chain / purchase certification will be an added advantage

Experience

3–4 years in purchase/procurement
Must have experience in Electrical or Fire Fighting industry
