Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage and oversee daily accounting operations. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting while supporting the organization’s financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, and receivable
• Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and monthly closing activities
• Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances
• Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure proper documentation of transactions
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
• Monitor cash flow and financial transactions
• Supervise junior accounting staff (if applicable)

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) / M.Com / CA Inter preferred
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and taxation
• Hands-on experience with Tally, ERP systems, and MS Excel
• Good understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Experience in handling end-to-end accounting functions
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Prior experience in a consultancy or placement firm will be an added advantage
