Job Description:
- Water/Steam Analysis: Monitoring key parameters (silica, pH, conductivity) in boilers and turbines to prevent corrosion and scaling.
- Water Treatment Ops: Maintaining chemical levels and managing demineralization and waste treatment systems.
- Fuel & Lube Testing: Analyzing coal, oil, and lubricants to maintain machine health.
- Environmental & Lab Management: Ensuring compliance with emission regulations and maintaining analytical instrumentation.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering.
- Experience: Usually 3–4 years in power plant water treatment (thermal or CCPP).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in lab instruments (GC, UV, pH) and knowledge of ASTM standards.
- Location: High demand in industrial areas like Raipur, India, with roles like Plant or DM Chemist.
- Conditions: Requires field sampling, potentially shift work, and handling chemicals.
