Job Summary:

The Stores Manager (RM & FG) will lead the stores team, overseeing raw material (RM) yarn stock, material issuance, and maintenance of RM/FG godowns in 5S condition. Supervising in-charges and supervisors, the role ensures inventory efficiency, secondary QC oversight, stock ageing control, and sales support for over-aged stock.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise store in-charges and supervisors handling RM yarn stock, material issuance to production, and godown operations.
• Ensure 5S compliance (Sort, set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) across 3rd floor RM godown and 2nd floor FG saree store; conduct training and audits.
• Manage FG saree store: Oversee stock maintenance, monitor over-ageing of material/POF, and drive push management for sales of aged stock via team coordination.
• Oversee secondary QC checks at processes like Bhutta, border cutting, saree cutting, and folding; review team-marked actual outputs and report discrepancies.
• Direct store inward processes with pre-inward QC; enforce accurate documentation, FIFO, and inventory records across the team.
• Conduct stock audits, generate reports on inventory, ageing, and KPIs; analyse data to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
• Coordinate with production, sales, QC, and senior management; resolve escalations and implement process improvements.
• Check the RM weight and quality at the time of inward with PO.
• Review and control Goods Returns with help of respective department helps.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s/Diploma in Textile Technology, or related field.
• 5-8 years in stores/inventory management in textile/garment/saree manufacturing, with 2+ years in a supervisory/leadership role.
• Proven experience leading store teams (in-charges/supervisors) in RM yarn and FG handling.
• Knowledge of 5S/ERP/inventory and textile QC processes.
