Job Description:
Job Summary
The company is looking for a skilled Civil Draftsman with experience in preparing technical drawings and layouts for infrastructure and utility projects. The candidate will support engineering teams by developing accurate drawings related to City Gas Distribution (CGD) pipelines, stations, and associated civil works.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare civil engineering drawings and layouts using AutoCAD
- Develop GA drawings, layout plans, sections, and detailed drawings
- Prepare drawings for:
- Pipeline routes
- PNG / CNG stations
- Valve stations
- Utility crossings
- Structural foundations
- Modify drawings based on engineer/site feedback
- Maintain drawing records and revision control
- Coordinate with engineering, project, and site execution teams
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and safety standards
- Support documentation required for approvals and project execution
Required Skills
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD (2D)
- Ability to read civil and utility infrastructure drawings
- Experience working on pipeline / CGD / infrastructure / oil & gas projects preferred
- Understanding of site layouts and construction drawings
- Good coordination skills with engineering and execution teams
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Qualification
- Diploma / ITI in Civil Engineering (mandatory)
- Certification in AutoCAD Drafting preferred
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in City Gas Distribution (CGD) projects ⭐
- Exposure to pipeline alignment drawings and station layouts
- Ability to work with cross-functional project teams
- Immediate joiners preferred
