About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Engineer to join our team in Ahmedabad. The role involves designing, programming, and commissioning PLC-based automation systems for industrial applications. You will be responsible for developing reliable automation solutions, troubleshooting technical issues, conducting system testing, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards while delivering high-quality solutions aligned with client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC-based automation systems
- Develop and integrate HMI, SCADA, and VFD systems with PLCs
- Configure communication protocols such as Modbus TCP/IP, Modbus RTU, and proprietary industrial protocols
- Create new automation programs and modify existing logic as per project requirements
- Perform testing, commissioning, and performance optimization of automation systems
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues during project execution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, electrical, and project teams
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and technical specifications
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering or related field
- Strong experience in PLC programming (Schneider / Siemens / ABB) using Ladder, FBD, and Structured Text
- Hands-on experience in SCADA and HMI development
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience in industrial automation projects preferred
