QA Engineer

Job Description:

As a Quality Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications through manual testing, and it is a Full-Time position.

Qualifications and Skills

• 1 to 3 years of experience in manual testing

• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and processes

• Basic understanding of automation testing concepts and tools (Selenium /

Playwright / Cypress or similar)

• Experience in developing and executing test cases

• Familiarity with bug tracking tools

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good understanding of coding and design standards

• Knowledge of SQL

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Strong communication and documentation skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related fieldRoles and Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing on software applications to identify and report any defects or issues

• Manual Testing experience in Functional, Regression, System, Integration and UAT testing.

• Hands-on experience in all types of Black Box testing (Smoke, Sanity, System, Integration, Regression, UAT)

• Develop and maintain basic automation test scripts for web applications

• Execute automation test suites and analyze results

• API Testing, Database testing, Load Testing, Performance Testing will be an added advantage

• Web based SAAS products testing experience will be a bonus and will make you stand out in the crowd.

• Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts

• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to identify and resolve quality- related issues

• Document and track defects using bug tracking tools

• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and best practices in software testing

• Ensure compliance with coding and design standards

• Conduct root cause analysis on identified defects

• Participate in requirement analysis and review of functional specifications

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to software testing
