Job Description:
Role Summary:
Own end-to-end development of scalable web applications using the MERN stack, drive architecture decisions, and mentor the engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, secure full-stack applications (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js)
- Define system architecture, APIs, and database schema design
- Lead code reviews, enforce coding standards, and optimize performance
- Integrate third-party services, RESTful APIs, and microservices
- Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps teams for release cycles
- Mentor junior developers and guide technical decisions
Required Skills:
- 4+ years of experience in full-stack development (MERN preferred)
- Strong proficiency in React (hooks, state management), Node.js, Express
- Deep understanding of MongoDB (aggregation, indexing, performance tuning)
- Experience with system design, scalability, and cloud (AWS/Azure)
- Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, Git workflows
- Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
Good to Have:
- Experience in Microservices architecture
- Exposure to AI/ML integrations or analytics platforms
- Domain exposure (Insurance/Healthcare is a plus for your context)
