AutoCAD Draftsman

Job Description:

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced AutoCAD Design Engineer / Civil Draftsman with strong exposure to industrial and infrastructure construction projects, capable of preparing shop drawings, detailed drawings, and coordination drawings aligned with site execution requirements.

The role requires close collaboration with architects, engineers, project managers, and site teams to support accurate design execution and fabrication readiness.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Participate in discussions with architects, designers, engineers, and project teams to understand project design requirements

🔹 Prepare and develop shop drawings and detailed construction drawings

🔹 Generate solid and surface CAD models using AutoCAD

🔹 Prepare fabrication drawings and plan drawings

🔹 Present design drafts for review and approval by internal teams and clients

🔹 Ensure drawings comply with safety standards and structural requirements

🔹 Provide technical drawing support for construction improvements and adaptations

🔹 Coordinate with Project Manager (Design) for drawing updates and execution alignment

🔹 Support site teams with drawing clarifications during project execution

🔹 Maintain drawing documentation and submit job completion reports

🔹 Present AutoCAD models and revisions to stakeholders when required

Required Skills & Competencies

✔ Strong experience in AutoCAD drafting (2D required)
✔ Exposure to shop drawings and detailed drawings
✔ Understanding of fabrication drawings and execution drawings
✔ Experience working in industrial construction environments
✔ Knowledge of plan drawings and site coordination workflows
✔ Ability to coordinate with design and site execution teams
✔ Strong attention to detail and drawing accuracy
✔ Good communication skills

Additional Requirements

✔ Experience working at construction sites or design offices
✔ Exposure to industrial project execution drawings
✔ Ability to interpret structural and architectural drawings
✔ Drawing test will be part of the selection process
