Software Developer (SAP ABAP)
Job Description:
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with experience in SAP ABAP and a strong interest in modern web technologies. This role involves developing, enhancing, and supporting applications across SAP S/4HANA and a Neptune-based employee portal.
Experience with Neptune DXP is a strong advantage; however, candidates with a learning mindset and willingness to upskill are equally encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain SAP ABAP objects (Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms, Conversions)
Build and enhance Fiori/UI5 applications
Develop responsive applications using Neptune DXP / JavaScript / HTML / CSS
Collaborate with BAs, BPLs, and global teams
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
Maintain and enhance existing applications
Prepare technical documentation
Participate in Agile/sprint ceremonies
Be flexible for off-hours support if required
Key Requirements
2+ years of SAP ABAP experience
Strong knowledge of core ABAP concepts
Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS
Experience with or willingness to learn Neptune DXP
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Bachelor’s degree in IT / Computer Science or related field
Preferred Skills
SAPUI5/OpenUI5/Web Technology Stack
CDS Views, OOP ABAP, S/4HANA
Integration via OData or APIs
