Intake & Discharge Civil/Structure Engineer

Intake & Outfall Systems: Pump Stations, Discharge Channels, Culverts, and Subsea Pipelines. - Plant Civil Design: Structural Analysis of Water Retaining Structures and Industrial Foundations. - Completes projects by preparing engineering design and documents and confirming specifications. - Prepares clear and comprehensive reports, technical notes and client or public presentations - Checks the current site condition (interference with the existing facilities, underground utilities etc.) and incorporates in the design - Supports the permitting work - Attends various meetings with client, subcon, consultant and other relevant parties - Creates feasibility study by analyzing engineering design, conducting environmental impact studies, and assembling data. - Produces engineering documents by developing construction specifications, plans, and schedules. - Confirms adherence to construction specifications and safety standards by monitoring project progress, inspecting construction site, and verifying calculations and placements. - Maintains operations by enforcing project and operational policies and procedures. - Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements(such as QCS, Qatar Construction Specifications) by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; and advising management on needed actions.

Technical Authority: Act as the final reviewer and approver for all civil design deliverables of the Intake & Discharge system. - Lead bid design and to provide cost-effective (VE) and solutions about intake & discharge system - Resolve critical interface issues between civil, mechanical (pumping station), and environmental impact teams. - Mentorship: Establish engineering workflows and provide technical guidance to Senior/Junior engineers. Qualification Education - Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering - PE required for an engineer - At least 10 years of engineering experience. Career - At least 4 project experience for intake & discharge system civil design of Combined cycle power plant, LNG Plant - Proven experience as a 'Lead Engineer' in at least 2 mega-scale (LNG/Thermal/Desalination) projects Preferential - BS/MA in Civil Engineering - Preference for relevant qualifications about civil/architectural engineering - Extensive network with global maritime consultants and specialized subcontractors. - Preference for professional engineereng
