Job Description:
Brief Job Profile:
The role would require to manage recruitment & selection, Pay Roll Processing, HR operations, Contract Labour management, Legal compliance pertaining to various Labour
Laws, IR, Factory Act. etc. Liasioning with concerned authorities like ESI, EPF, Factory Act, EHS etc. The position will report to the Senior Manager - HR.
Some Important Responsibilities of a Sr. HR Executive / Asst. Manager-HR
- Dealing with Labour Contractors and contract workers.
- Mobilize workers as per requirement of various departments in multiple shifts.
- Controlling Absenteeism of Workers
- Conducting recruitment, induction and joining formalities for new joiners.
- Talent acquisition and retention.
- Payroll & Salary Administration.
- Issuing offer letter, appointment letter etc.
- Maintaining employee database.
- Facilitate Training and Development Initiatives
- Organizing employee engagement & welfare activities.
- Facilitate Employee Performance Appraisal process.
- General Administration related to HR such as providing ID Cards, Uniform Safety Gears etc., Plant Infrastructure Management, House Keeping, Travel Logistics etc.
- Support Workers & Employee Engagement & Welfare Initiatives
- Fulfill Statutory & Factory compliances & Dealing with Statutory Bodies
- Maintaining employee records
- Manage HR MIS
- Handle Employee grievances & employee support on any other aspects with discussion with Senior Manager – HR.
- Manage IT Infrastructure such as assignment of mail ids. Activation, deactivation, basic trouble shooting of IT Network & IT Assets of the organization
Qualification, Experience, Skills and Abilities:
- Graduation in any stream with a Diploma/Degree/Post Graduation in HR/MLW
- 5 to 8 years of HR & IR experience in the Manufacturing unit with End- to-End Process Management of Employee Life Cycle.
- Exposure to structured Employee Onboarding, Induction and Performance Appraisal System. Offboarding and F & F Process.
- Efficient HR administration and people management skills.
- Experience in Pay Roll processing with exposure to any industry standard Pay Roll Software such as SARAL or Mini ERP must.
- Must have Manpower Management skills (including Labour Management)
- Must have knowledge about Statutory & Factory compliances, labour laws, and the Factories Act.
- Must have knowledge of HR functions and best practices.
- Excellent record-keeping skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English, Hindi & Gujarati.
- Must have good hands upon computer literacy with capability in email, MS Office.
- Must be enthusiastic and have zeal for taking new initiatives.
