Job Description:

Position:    Sales Manager / Senior Sales Manager – Heavy Rings

Location:    Baroda

 

Experience: 8+ Years

Qualification: BE (Mechanical / Production / Metallurgical Engineering)

 

Key Responsibilities

Purpose

Responsible for driving sales, customer acquisition, and account growth for tower flanges, slewing rings, and bearing rings supplied to wind OEMs, EPCs, heavy equipment manufacturers, and infrastructure projects. Focus on project-based selling, OEM relationship management, and solution-oriented sales execution.

 

Business Development & Market Expansion

  • Tower flanges (wind towers, structural joints)
  • Slewing rings (cranes, excavators, F&B, yaw & pitch systems)
  • Bearing rings (large diameter industrial applications)

Identify and develop new OEM, EPC, and project customers. Expand presence across wind, cranes, mining, infrastructure, and heavy machinery segments. Track upcoming projects, RFQs, and sourcing plans.

 

Quotation, Pricing & Negotiation

Prepare quotations and tenders aligned with cost and margin targets. Lead negotiations, contracts, pricing finalization, change management, and claim handling.

 

Order Execution & Cross Functional Coordination

Coordinate with Engineering, PPC, Manufacturing, and SCM to ensure feasibility, capacity alignment, on-time delivery, and customer commitments. Monitor order execution and resolve delivery, quality, or documentation issues.

 

Market Intelligence & Strategy Inputs

Track competition, imports, price trends, and sourcing strategies. Gather feedback on product gaps and competitiveness. Provide structured inputs for capacity expansion, product strategy, and vertical focus.
