Job Description:
Position: EHS Officer
Location: Silvassa
Experience: 4 - 5 Years
Industries: Chemical
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with local EHS laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Monitor workplace safety practices and identify hazards.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare reports and corrective actions.
- Organize safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.
- Maintain EHS documentation, permits, and records.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness and evacuation drills.
- Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Monitor waste management and environmental control measures.
- Liaise with government authorities and auditors during inspections.
- Support ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 implementation and audits.
- Promote a strong safety culture across the organization.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Strong communication and training skills.
- Incident investigation and reporting ability.
- Risk assessment and hazard identification.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
Required Qualification: - Diploma - Fire and Safty
