Site Project Manager for MNC Pharma Company

Job Description:

Role Purpose

Lead end-to-end execution of brownfield and greenfield projects at manufacturing sites. The role requires a strong technical understanding of reactors, distillation columns, piping, and utilities, as well as solid project planning and site execution capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Control

• Define project scope, timelines, budgets and resources.
• Prepare and track project schedules (MS Project/Primavera).
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and quality standards.
• Identify risks and drive mitigation plans.

Engineering & Technical Coordination

• Review and coordinate:
• PFDs, P&IDs and plant layouts
• Equipment datasheets and utility requirements
• Work closely with Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and Automation teams.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety and statutory standards.

Site Execution

• Lead installation, erection and commissioning activities.
• Manage EPC contractors, vendors and consultants.
• Monitor site progress and ensure EHS compliance.

Process Equipment & Utilities Exposure
Must have working knowledge of:

• Chemical reactors and distillation columns
• Heat exchangers, tanks, pumps and compressors
• Process piping and plant layout
• Utilities: Steam, cooling water, chilled water, compressed air, nitrogen, vacuum, effluent systems.

Procurement & Cost Tracking

• Support vendor selection and technical bid reviews.
• Monitor budget, material delivery and project costs.

Commissioning & Handover

• Lead pre-commissioning and commissioning.
• Ensure smooth handover to operations with documentation.
