Job Description:

Basic Function

Responsible for cost estimation, preparation of budgetary proposals, firm quotations, and lead time management for the IAS Product Line. The role involves performing basic engineering calculations, product selection and sizing for various industrial applications, and coordinating with customers, external sales teams, and production/planning teams to achieve sales and margin objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for offer preparation including size selection and filtration screen selection for various applications and related products
  • Interact and communicate with customers across India and provide complete support during pre-sales and after-sales processes
  • Review and process all sales orders to facilitate efficient manufacturing and dispatch activities
  • Coordinate with external sales, production, planning, and procurement teams for timely and optimum product delivery to customers
  • Arrange inspection and ensure timely dispatch of manufactured products to customers
  • Coordinate with colleagues from JS entities and group companies for inter-company sales activities including cost estimation, offer submission, order processing, and shipment coordination
  • Handle customer complaints on priority in coordination with external sales and operations teams
  • Follow up on outstanding payments
  • Ensure timely submission of sales reports and monthly revenue plans
  • Maintain accurate records in Sales Force for customer activities including inquiries, quotations, orders, and customer complaints

Qualifications & Skills

Educational Qualification:

  • Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institute

Experience:

  • 2–3 years of Internal Sales experience, preferably in an industrial products/equipment manufacturing company

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Ability to work independently and interact with customers at multiple levels
  • Aptitude for learning new products and technologies used in solid-liquid filtration processes across industries including Food & Beverage, Pulp & Paper, Mining, Power Plants, Water, Chemical, Petrochemical, and OEM sectors
  • Hands-on experience with SAP and Sales Force
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Fundamental understanding of engineering design formulas and calculations
  • Good communication skills with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal abilities
