Job Description:
Job Title: Planning Officer.

Employment Type: Full Time
Remuneration: Approx. 30 k to 35k/month ctc
Role Objective:
To plan, coordinate, and optimize production activities in melamine manufacturing, ensuring timely order fulfilment. Efficient utilization of resources, and minimal production downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Day-wise, Week-wise, and Monthly production plans.
- Develop and maintain Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on Customer orders
- Allocate jobs to all Compression Machines based on capacity.
- Ensure optimum machine utilization and load balancing.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and materials across all stages.
- Monitor production progress and adjust plans to address delays, machine breakdowns, or priority changes.
- Work closely with shop floor supervisors to balance workloads and eliminate bottlenecks in processes.
- Maintain accurate production records, reports, and planning data.
- Ensure adherence to delivery schedules and customer commitments.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Required Skill & Preferred Attributes
- Strong analytical and operational planning skill
- Proficiency in Excel/ERP systems
- Knowledge of production processes in melamine/tableware manufacturing
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines
- Good coordination and communication skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Knowledge of ROFO Mindset / 5S / Lean practices
Required Qualifications:
- Degree / Diploma in Supply Chain / Logistics (Preferred)
- 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain Field
- Minimum 2-3 years in Planning role
Preferred Industry: Automotive / Plastic & Rubber/ Household.
