CUTTER FOR COAL WASHERY - SUNDARGARH , ODISHA

Job Description:

To assist in cutting, sizing, separating, and handling coal as per washery process requirements to ensure quality output and smooth plant operations.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Operate coal cutting and sizing equipment (manual or semi-automatic).
• Break or cut coal lumps into required sizes for processing.
• Assist in feeding coal into crushers, screens, or conveyor systems.
• Remove impurities like stones, shale, and foreign materials from coal.
• Monitor coal flow and ensure proper segregation as per grade.
• Maintain cleanliness around work area and equipment.
• Follow safety procedures while handling heavy machinery and coal dust.
• Assist maintenance team during shutdown or breakdown activities.
• Report equipment faults or unsafe conditions to supervisors.
• Support other washery operations as assigned.

• Basic literacy (reading safety instructions and labels).
• Ability to work in dusty and noisy industrial environments.
• Physical fitness and stamina for manual labor.
• Basic knowledge of coal handling equipment is preferred.
• Awareness of industrial safety practices.
