CIVIL SUPERVISOR FOR MANUFACTURE OF REFRACTORY CERAMIC PRODUCTS - ODISHA

The Civil Supervisor for Chimney construction is responsible for supervising and managing all civil activities related to the construction of RCC chimneys/industrial stacks at the site. The role ensures quality execution, safety compliance, and timely progress of work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise all civil construction activities at chimney/industrial stack site
• Ensure proper execution of shuttering, reinforcement (steel work), concreting, and finishing works
• Verify that work is carried out as per approved drawings and structural design
• Manage site labor, subcontractors, and daily workforce activities
• Monitor material usage and control wastage
• Prepare daily progress reports and submit updates to the engineer/project manager
• Ensure quality control (QA/QC) standards are strictly followed
• Implement and maintain site safety measures (PPE usage, working at height safety, scaffolding safety, etc.)
• Coordinate with engineers and site management for smooth execution
• Maintain site records, measurements, and documentation (MB – Measurement Book)

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or B.Tech/B.E. (preferred) or equivalent site experience
• Strong experience in RCC high-rise structures, preferably chimney/industrial projects
• Knowledge of shuttering, reinforcement, and concrete works
• Ability to read and understand structural drawings
• Experience in site supervision and labor management
• Good understanding of construction safety standards

Experience Required:

• 3–8 years of relevant experience in industrial chimney or RCC high-rise construction projects
