📌 Job Summary
We are looking for a Jr. Mechanical Engineer with 1–3 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering to support EPC and industrial utility projects. The role involves assisting in mechanical system design, preparation of drawings and technical documents, coordination with other engineering disciplines, and supporting project execution activities.
💼 Key Responsibilities
- Assist in mechanical design and engineering for industrial projects such as water/wastewater treatment plants, utilities, piping systems, and equipment layout.
- Prepare and review mechanical drawings including GA drawings, piping layouts, equipment layouts, and fabrication drawings.
- Develop mechanical datasheets, technical specifications, BOQ/BOM, and engineering documents.
- Support senior engineers in equipment selection (pumps, tanks, valves, blowers, etc.).
- Coordinate with electrical, instrumentation, civil, and process teams for integrated project execution.
- Assist in vendor technical evaluations and drawing/data sheet reviews.
- Provide engineering support during procurement, fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning stages.
- Participate in site visits for installation checks, troubleshooting, and progress review.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable engineering standards, safety norms, and quality procedures.
📌 Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering.
- 1–3 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering (EPC/industrial projects preferred).
- Knowledge in AutoCAD.
- Basic knowledge of piping, equipment design, material selection, and manufacturing processes.
- Good documentation and communication skills.
💡 Preferred Skills
- Exposure to EPC / industrial utility projects.
- Understanding of mechanical codes and standards.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and engineering drawings.
- Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
