AI Agent Specialist

Job Description:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are hiring an AI Agent Specialist to be the on-ground AI implementation arm for our US-based parent company in India. This is a pioneering, client-facing role at the intersection of artificial intelligence, business consulting, and hands-on technology deployment.

You will work directly with businesses across Kolkata and India, helping them understand, adopt, and operationalize AI agents — automating workflows, building custom agent pipelines, and driving measurable outcomes. Strategic direction and AI infrastructure come from the US team; your job is to translate that into real-world deployments on the ground.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Engagement & Implementation

• Engage with Indian clients to assess their business workflows and identify AI agent opportunities
• Design and implement AI agent solutions using platforms such as n8n, Relevance AI, Make, LangChain, or equivalent tools
• Deploy multi-agent pipelines for tasks including sales prospecting, customer follow-up, document processing, and data enrichment
• Train client teams on using and maintaining deployed AI systems

Coordination with US Parent Company

• Receive strategic direction, product roadmaps, and implementation frameworks from the US-based leadership team
• Provide weekly field reports on client status, deployment progress, market feedback, and pipeline updates
• Adapt US-designed AI solutions to Indian market needs, infrastructure constraints, and language/cultural context
• Participate in regular video calls with the US team for alignment, training, and planning

Business Development Support

• Identify and qualify new client prospects in Kolkata and across India
• Assist in scoping, proposals, and demonstrations for potential clients
• Build case studies and implementation documentation from successful deployments

AI Research & Continuous Learning

• Stay current with the rapidly evolving AI agent ecosystem — new models, tools, and platforms
• Test and evaluate emerging no-code and low-code agent platforms for client fit
• Share learnings with the broader team to strengthen the company's AI service offering

WHAT YOU MUST KNOW

AI & Agent Fundamentals (Non-Negotiable)

• Deep understanding of how LLMs work (GPT-4, Claude, Gemini) and their practical capabilities and limits
• Hands-on experience building AI agents using at least one major platform: n8n, Relevance AI, Make, Zapier, or LangChain
• Understanding of the Perceive → Think → Act loop, tool use, and multi-agent architecture
• Ability to write clear, effective system prompts — this is a core skill for the role
• Familiarity with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), vector databases, and memory systems is a strong plus

Technical Skills

• Comfortable working with APIs, webhooks, and no-code automation tools
• Basic Python or JavaScript is a plus — not mandatory, but advantageous
• Experience integrating AI tools with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Gmail), CRMs, or WhatsApp
• Ability to read and interpret AI tool documentation independently

Soft Skills & Work Style

• Excellent English communication — written and spoken — for client interaction and US team coordination
• Self-starter who can operate with autonomy while following direction from a remote leadership team
• Consultative mindset — you listen to what clients need, not just what they say they want
• Highly organised, able to manage multiple client implementations simultaneously
• Comfort working across time zones to overlap with US working hours as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience
• 2–5 years of experience in a technology, consulting, or AI-adjacent role
• Demonstrable experience building or deploying AI tools, agents, or automations — a portfolio or GitHub is a strong advantage
• Prior experience working with international teams or remote-first companies is preferred
• Based in Kolkata or willing to relocate; some pan-India travel for client visits may be required
