Job Description:

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and target-driven Team Leader – Tele Sales for the building material industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing the telesales team, driving sales performance, generating business opportunities, and ensuring excellent customer engagement with dealers, distributors, contractors, builders, and retailers.

The role requires strong leadership, sales management, customer handling, and team coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the telesales team to achieve sales targets.
  • Monitor daily calling activities, lead generation, and conversion performance.
  • Develop and implement telesales strategies for business growth.
  • Handle key customer accounts including dealers, distributors, contractors, and builders.
  • Promote company products such as paints, tiles, plywood, cement, sanitaryware, pipes, hardware, laminates, or construction chemicals.
  • Train, motivate, and guide telesales executives on product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Ensure proper follow-up on inquiries, quotations, and pending orders.
  • Coordinate with field sales teams and regional managers for market support.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports.
  • Resolve customer complaints and escalation issues professionally.
  • Maintain CRM records, customer databases, and MIS reports.
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
  • Ensure team discipline, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills

  • Strong leadership and team handling ability.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Good knowledge of telesales operations and customer relationship management.
  • Understanding of building material products and construction market.
  • Target-oriented and problem-solving mindset.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel/ CRM software/ reporting systems.
  • Ability to train and motivate team members.

Educational Qualification

  • Graduate in any discipline preferred.

Experience

  • Min 5yrs. of experience in tele-sales
  • Minimum 3yrs. of team handling experience preferred.
  • Experience in building materials, paints, tiles, plywood, sanitaryware, cement, steel, hardware, or construction products preferred.
